Samsung is seen trying to attract public attention by sharing a video about the arrival of a new product on October 21, 2024. However, the video does not reveal any details and only shows a man holding a white envelope and knocking on a door, in addition to the launch date at the end of the video.
Many speculated that Samsung might launch a limited edition device for the Galaxy Z Fold6. In fact, what further strengthened the speculation was the appearance of an image showing Samsung's latest foldable phone with a thinner build. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 was launched earlier with a new design and priced from RM7,299 in Malaysia. It features a 6.3-inch screen on the outside and 7.6-inch inside that supports a Dynamic AMOLED 2X 120Hz panel. It is also powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chip, 12GB RAM memory, up to 1TB storage, and a 4400 mAh battery that supports 25W charging.
The main camera consists of a 50MP wide-angle lens, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 10MP telephoto lens that supports 3X optical zoom. The external selfie camera is 10MP while the internal one is still 4MP which is hidden under the screen. The uniqueness of this new model is the special feature of Galaxy AI for folding screen devices through the OneUI 6.1.1 operating system based on Android 14.
