Updated 16/10/2024, 5:53 PM – TC Acoustic as the authorized distributor of Sonos in Malaysia has just confirmed that Sonos Arc Ultra and Sonos Sub 4 will be sold in Malaysia.
On November 1 until November 10 at Starhill, Kuala Kumpur - a Sonos Spatial Pop-Up event will be held to try and buy. The Arc Ultra is sold at a price of RM5,899 and the Sub 4 at a price of RM4,799.
Sonos has today launched two new audio products, the Arc Ultra and Sub 4. One is a new generation soundbar with twice as powerful bass, while the other is a brand new subwoofer that is more suitable for use with other Sonos audio products.
This new soundbar comes with a built-in subwoofer with the Sound Motion system. Through this system, it offers a bass with a thumping impact that is twice as strong in a small size that is more or less the same as the previous model. In addition, the Arc Ultra is also loaded with 14 audio drivers that radiate in various directions for a more immersive audio experience.
Sonos Arc Ultra now also supports 9.1.4 spatial audio and the Speech Enhancement system has been further improved to ensure that every dialogue in the film sounds clearer. This soundbar design also uses a dull finish, a thin body and is suitable to be placed under a television with a thin bezel. Arc Ultra also supports HDMI eARC and Bluetooth connectivity for more flexible use.
Sonos Sub 4
After years of Sonos users pairing their speakers and soundbars with the Sub 3, the Sub 4 is here as a replacement. Now with a matte finish, designed to easily match the furniture in the home, and now lighter at around 12 kg compared to the previous 14 kg.
Sub 4 also comes with a new WiFi chip that is guaranteed to be more stable, while the bass distribution is promised to be more consistent with a more immersive thump. Sub 4 is suitable for use with Arc Ultra, Arc, Beam and many other Sonos products.
In the United States, the Sonos Arc Ultra is sold for $999 (~RM4300). While the Sonos Sub 4 is priced at $799 (~RM3430). The Malaysian sales and launch is yet to be determined but it is expected to arrive in the near future. Along with the launch of these two new Sonos products, Sonos also reminded the public that their application will be regularly updated on a weekly basis.
