Sony Headphones Connect App Rebranded To Sound Connect

Now it's still hotly discussed on the Internet about Sonos. The Sonos app to control their audio products is riddled with bugs and many features/functions that many use have been removed. Even though people are bashing Sonos, I'm still furious with the Sony Headphones app which is not user-friendly and difficult to use. Recently, their application has changed in line with the launch of LinkBuds Fit and the Smoky Pink colored XMH-1000XM5 is offered in Malaysia.

The Sony Headphones app has now been rebranded to Sound Connect. Not only the name has changed, because the interface has also changed by now focusing on the use of card display and the Material 3 theme. It is cleaner, the majority of functions and features are easily accessible and most importantly it is less confusing. Some aspects of the old interface are still retained, so those who need deeper controls can still do so. Most importantly, the home page for quick access is finally pleasing to the eye.

This week some Sony products such as WH-1000XM5, WF-1000XM5 and LinkBuds S have also been updated with Audio Switch support, which is a low-power Bluetooth LE connection built into Android to easily switch between two devices like Apple products. Then more audio products began to be trackable with Google Find My Device.
