Tesla recently held a special event announcing several new things, including a self-driving taxi, and even a new robocar. Not only that, Tesla at the event also showed a number of demonstrations using the Tesla Optimus robot, showing what the robot is capable of doing.
However, now it is known that the robot does not move completely independently, instead it is remotely controlled by humans. This also answers how the robot can interact without problems with humans, prepare drinks and so on without experiencing any challenges.
In fact, this also shows that the robot being developed by Elon Musk's company is not fully ready, and needs to go through a longer development phase before it can be integrated with autonomous operating capabilities.
In addition to Tesla, several other companies are now racing to develop their own human-shaped robots, including Figure and Xiaomi.
