The Ministry of Communications Wants to Focus on Internet Services in Schools and Campuses Through the 2025 Budget

The 2025 budget will be presented on 18 October 2024, which will show what will be the main focus of the government for the coming year 2025. In parallel, the Ministry of Communications has now shared that it will give priority to the implementation of internet connections and services through the 2025 Budget.

Among the things that will be given attention is WiFi access in schools, in addition to internet access in public university campuses across the country. Prior to this, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim had ordered that the problem of internet connection on campus be resolved as soon as possible.

Fahmi Fadzil, Minister of Communications shared that he had instructed SKMM to present a draft with the Ministry of Higher Education to identify campuses with internet problems.
