The Sphere Las Vegas is a spherical building that I feel is one of the wonders of the modern world. A stage with a wide angle view provides an experience like going to another world. In addition to placing a stage inside it is also equipped with an LED screen on the outside. Now Sphere Entertainment Co. which is the owner of The Sphere Las Vegas announced they will build a second building in Abu Dhabi.
It is a building of the same size only now built in the Middle East. The exact location of The Sphere Abu Dhabi has not yet been finalized but it will be 111 meters high and 157 meters wide and covered in 57.6 million LED lights on the outside.
Sphere Entertainment Co. said the construction in Abu Dhabi realized their dream of building The Sphere in various locations around the world. Previously they announced plans to build it in London had been canceled due to public opposition who did not want the English capital to become a victim of light pollution.
Since starting operations in 2021, The Sphere has not only been an immersive movie theater but has also been used as a location for U2 concerts and UFC sporting events.
