The Vivo X200 series is equipped with a Bluetooth-based SOS system with a communication distance of up to 4KM

The Vivo X200 series has just been launched a while ago with three variants offered namely X200, X200 Pro and X200 Pro Mini. All three come with a new feature that is very useful in emergency situations. This emergency communication system is based on bluetooth connection only.

It is developed by Vivo in collaboration with MediaTek. In an emergency situation where no cellular network, internet or satellite connection is blocked, this system can send an SOS message for help up to a distance of 4 kilometers.

In a situation of being trapped in the rubble of a building for example, this system is the difference between getting help or not. Text messages, GPS location and even information about the physical condition of the body can be sent to the authorities through this system. Vivo has conducted tests with earthquake relief agencies in three locations in China to ensure the system is operating as it should.

Each bluetooth device under the OriginOS 5 ecosystem is capable of being a relay station sending a bluetooth signal to the next device until the message sent reaches the emergency team.
