Up to 50 Freebies Coming to Epic Game Store Android Later This Year

Unreal Fest is taking place in Seattle, United States where Epic Games has been present and Steve Allison as manager of Epic Games Store has announced that at the end of this year a free mobile game program will be offered to Android users.

This free game program has long been offered to PC users through the Epic Games Launcher. A variety of exciting games from many indie and well-known developers are offered for free. This same concept will be offered to Android users, with the first 10-50 expected to be ready to play at launch. One of the confirmed arrivals is Ark: Ultimate Mobile Edition.

Epic also wants to help make it easier for the developers they work with, by allowing them to self-publish first to the Epic Games Store. Offering free games for Android from other app stores seems to be becoming more and more common, in contrast to Apple because on iOS third-party app stores can only be used in Europe.
