Xiaomi No Longer Offers Chargers In The Box

Four years ago, Apple became the manufacturer that started the trend of no longer including chargers in the box for reasons of protecting the environment and reducing electronic waste. It started with the iPhone 12, but the iPhone 11 at that point also relaunched with a new box without a charger. Slowly, other manufacturers like Samsung, Google and OnePlus are doing the same. Xiaomi has actually done this too.

What's in the Xiaomi 14T Pro box?

As for the Xiaomi Mi 11, no charger in the box is provided but users can get the charger for free at no extra cost. This is discontinued as Xiaomi Mi 11T, Xiaomi 12 up to Xiaomi 14 – the charger is back included in the box. Now, both Xiaomi 14Ts continue with no more chargers in the box and only cables provided.

What's in the Xiaomi 14 box?

Not only that, even the cheap Redmi 14C, Xiaomi no longer includes a charger. This is due to European law under the European Common Charger Directive which does not recommend that device manufacturers offer bundles of devices with chargers.

Good news for users in Malaysia, Xiaomi still provides a separate 120W HyperCharge charger for the purchase of the Xiaomi 14T Pro and 67W HyperCharge for the purchase of the Xiaomi 14T without any additional charge. Rumored, it will be offered while stocks last. Can you accept this change or not?
