In addition to the two Xiaomi 15 models, the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro tablets were also announced today, each with a different chip configuration. The most prominent model is the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro which comes with an 11.2″ LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 800 nits. The screen uses a 3:2 ratio and also comes with an anti-glare coating.
It is matched to a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage and an 8850 mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. The main camera at the back comes with a 50MP f/1.8 sensor while the front has a 32MP f/2.2 selfie camera.
The tablet also supports the use of a stylus, WiFi 7, comes with 4 stereo speakers, side fingerprint scanner, infrared transmitter and uses the HyperOS 2 operating system based on Android 15.
Next, Xiaomi Pad 7 also comes with an 11.2″ LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 800 nits. All the screen specifications are the same as the Pad 7 Pro. The difference lies in the use of the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip, up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to 256GB UFS 4.0 storage and an 8850 mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging.
The main camera at the back comes with a 13MP f/2.2 sensor while the front has an 8MP f/2.28 selfie camera. The tablet also supports the use of a stylus, WiFi 6, comes with 4 stereo speakers, an infrared transmitter and uses the HyperOS 2 operating system based on Android 15.
Both tablets support a stylus as well as a keyboard accessory along with a screen protector. The selling price of the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro starts from RMB 2499 (~RM 1531) for the 8/128GB model while the Xiaomi Pad 7 starts from RMB 1999 (~RM 1225) for the 8/128GB model.
