The end of last year Xiaomi SU7 was launched and started the era of Xiaomi automotive. After hundreds of these EVs have already been sold in China, yesterday the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra was launched with it being the model with the highest performance on offer.
The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is still a sedan EV with four doors but enhanced with two V8s electric motors (578PS) and one V6s electric motor (392PS) which gives a combined power of 1548PS and 1,770 Nm of torque. This allows the SU7 Ultra to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 1.9 seconds. This car is also capable of moving up to a maximum speed of 350 km/h
Other changes made are a new aerodynamic body kit at the front, a new rear spoiler and a wider body kit than the regular SU7 model. In the cockpit there is a 16.1-inch screen for car control, two screens in the back for passengers, and a windshield with a HUD system. The seats and steering wheel use Alcantara material.
More carbon fiber components are also used on the side mirrors, door trim, seats and even the air conditioning slots. Even the two screens that were previously placed behind the driver's seat and the front passenger are no longer included on the SU7 Ultra.
The brake system is a 4-piston Akebono type with discs made of carbon ceramic material to provide a more compatible brake grip for a high-performance car. The battery is of the Qilin 2.0 type produced by CATL with a capacity of 93.7 kWh. It can output a peak power of 1330 kW with 5.2DC charging support that allows the battery to be charged from 10-80% in just 11 minutes.
Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is sold at a price of RMB 814,900 (~RM 501,295) with only 4000 units to be produced. Reservations have already been opened with vehicles that will only be received by customers in March 2025.
