Xiaomi also added another new model in its range of smart watches released today. The watch known as Watch S4 comes with a touch of stylish design with its own identity similar to the Watch S4 Sport version that was announced last July.
It is available in the eSIM version with a leather strap option while the bluetooth version is equipped with a fluoroelastomer strap. Both use a 1.43-inch (466 x 466 pixels) AMOLED screen with interchangeable bezels like its Watch S3 predecessor. This is paired with a rotary knob along with a single physical button on the side.
Various health and fitness sensors are also provided for daily monitoring purposes. It also has a new self-developed heart rate algorithm with an accuracy of 98.2%. It also supports over 150 sports modes that include outdoor activities such as skiing, ball, dancing and more.
A built-in GPS system can track runs as well as offer a way back if the owner gets lost. eSIM support also allows this watch to make phone calls, receive notifications, stream music and download maps. Xiaomi further complements it with a 5ATM rating meaning it is waterproof and a 486mAh battery that lasts up to 7 days in normal use.
The sales price starts at RMB999 (~RM612) for the bluetooth version and RMB1199 (~RM734) for the eSIM.
