Last night Apple introduced the Apple M4 Pro chip which is more powerful and efficient. It supports up to 14-core CPU and 20-core GPU. The M4 Pro uses a design of 10 performance cores and 4 efficient cores on the CPU side, and supports memory up to 64GB RAM. It also has the power of the Neural Engine which is 3x faster than the M1 chip. Not forgetting that this chip brings support for Thunderbolt 5.
Thunderbolt 5 for those who don't know it is a new generation USB standard by Intel that supports data transfer up to 120Gbps, USB4 V2 support, Display Port 2.1 and PCI Express Gen 4. With the introduction of the M4 Pro chip on the new Mac Mini, Apple Malaysia also started selling USB-C Thunderbolt 5 cable for RM399.
Thunderbolt 5 (USB‑C) Pro is a 1 meter braided USB-C cable so that it is not easily tangled. It comes in a black color option, also supports Thunderbolt 3/Thunderbolt 4/USB 4 data transfer up to 40Gb/s and USB 3 up to 10Gb/s and fast charging up to 240W.
