Google Find My Device is an application to find your Android-based devices with Google Play Services that use the same Google account. It has just been updated to have Apple Find My-like support, where other user devices can become search nodes. Recently, the Find My Device application for Android has been updated with new security features.
Finally, for the first time the Find My Device app allows users to log in with a biometric scan. Most Android devices can use fingerprint scanning, while Google Pixel devices will have face scanning support. In the application settings, you can also choose to always require identity verification every time the application is opened.
With this feature first introduced, I strongly encourage you to activate it as a protection for yourself. If one of your devices is stolen, the thief can no longer track your other devices.
