This year saw a number of brand new memory standard offerings that look set to further boost the desktop PC sector, such as LPDDR5 CAMM2 memory, and more recently, CUDIMM memory.
If the LPDDR5 CAMM2 memory comes with a flatter design, the DDR5 CUDIMM memory comes with a design similar to the existing DDR5 memory, but comes with some additional components that allow it to operate at a much faster memory delivery rate than the normal offering.
With this, Acer has recently shown their first CUDIMM memory offering called the Predator Hera Special Edition which comes with a total of 24GB of memory. Basically, this memory comes with a data transmission speed of 9200MT/s, has an Intel XMP profile and can be overclocked up to 10,000MT/s manually.
Apart from that, the uniqueness of this Predator Hera memory is that it comes with an external frame made of metal and coated with 24 carat gold. It is also done in several layers, and this gives it a very glossy look.
For now, it is not known when Acer will introduce this Predator Hera Special Edition memory.
