Artificial intelligence technology is so terrible and powerful that if it is in the hands of irresponsible people, all kinds of fraud can happen. However if used by the right people, legendary content can be produced. Most recently, The Beatles' new song Now and Then, produced with the help of AI, has been nominated for two Grammy awards.
The Beatles are nominated for best Rock performance and best recording of the year. They will compete alongside Beyoncé, Charlie XCX, Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, Green Day, Pearl Jam, and The Black Keys. This song deserves to win an award because the Grammys themselves allow it, provided the award is won by humans and not by illegal means.
Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are the two surviving members of the Beatles. They managed to complete the song Now and Then which was delayed since 1995 because the demo recording of John Lennon's voice (died in 1980) in the cassette could not be separated from the sound of the instruments. Another member is George Harrison, he died in 2001.
There is no doubt that it is quite strange to see The Beatles' songs produced in the 90s competing alongside modern artists and songs. Regardless, interest in The Beatles' music is still high among the younger generation because they revolutionized the Rock music genre in the 60s and 70s.
