Amazon Delays Introduction of AI-Powered Alexa To 2025

Amazon is now reportedly delaying the introduction of Alexa powered by artificial intelligence to 2025. Its development is said to have faced several challenges, and led to the delay of its introduction.

Alexa is a virtual assistant offered by Amazon through some of their devices. Previously, it allowed users to ask a few questions, in addition to making purchase orders directly through Amazon.

However, with the explosion of this generation of artificial intelligence, Amazon wants to update the Alexa offering with the integration of artificial intelligence, allowing users to chat with Alexa, and it can understand the context of the conversation. It is said that Amazon initially targeted its introduction in October. However, Amazon ended the October event with the introduction of the new Kindle only.

With the introduction of ChatGPT and Gemini that can chat with humans, of course Alexa doesn't want to be left behind. Let's all look forward to the beginning of 2025, to see for ourselves what surprises are prepared by Amazon through their Alexa AI.
