Xiaomi HyperOS is Xiaomi's new generation operating system that focuses on the Human x Car x Home ecosystem. HyperOS is not just a MIUI replacement for phones but also tablets, smart watches and SU7 electric car inforia. Most recently, HyperOS is used in smart screens as well.
Xiaomi Smart Home Screen Mini is Xiaomi's answer to Google Nest Hub and Amazon Echo Show focusing on the Chinese market with the use of Xiao AI and Mi Home. This Smart Home Screen Mini allows users to control Internet of Things devices that have been installed, control music, get notifications, view closed circuit camera streaming and screen customization options are also provided.
This Smart Home Screen Mini runs HyperOS but it is not specified whether it is Android or a different platform. The promotional image shared by Xiaomi shows the same HyperOS-like interface design on Android devices.
Not sure if Xiaomi will sell it in the global market with the Google Assistant option or will be limited to China only. Xiaomi Smart Home Screen Mini is sold at a price of RMB269 which is around RM165.
