Apple often updates the status of their products, especially after about five years of stopping selling them and listing them as vintage products. This coincides with the discontinuation of sales, support, and repair components for it that is no longer manufactured.
Most recently, Apple now lists the iPhone 6s Plus and iPhone XS Max under the vintage category worldwide. Previously, iPhone 6s Plus was introduced last September 2015, while iPhone XS Max in September 2018.
For the time being, the small variant models that were introduced the same, namely iPhone 6s and iPhone XS are not listed under the same category - and may be done in the near future.
As for you, do you still use both models of these devices today?
