Apple Reportedly Has No Plans for AirPods Max After USB-C Update This Year

Apple this year introduced a minor update for AirPods Max, offering a USB-C connection option to replace the previous connection, in addition to coming with more new color options. According to a Bloomberg report today, Apple is said to have no further plans for AirPods Max, after this year's update.

Apple first introduced their headphones in December 2020 with a fairly premium price tag. It offers good quality audio, and received positive reactions from many of its users.

According to a report today, it is said that the headphones did not sell very high to allow Apple to invest more in it. In addition, its sales were also not so bad that Apple did not care about it.

Apple is expected to maintain the AirPods Max offering for now. For your information, before this USB-C update, the AirPods Max offering remained for 4 years without any updates. Perhaps with this latest report, it may take some time before we see an update for the new processing chip, as well as various updated audio functions on the AirPods Max.
