ASUS has just launched their latest series of smart gaming devices, the ASUS ROG Phone 9 series which consists of three models, namely ASUS ROG Phone 9, ASUS ROG Phone 9 Pro and ASUS ROG Phone 9 Pro Edition.
All of these devices come with almost the same specifications, where they come with a 7.68-inch screen display with the same 2400×1080 resolution, with a refresh rate as high as 185Hz with a High Brightness Mode brightness value of 1600 nits. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processing chip, it also comes with memory options of 12GB up to 24GB and UFS 4.0 storage up to 1TB depending on the model.
ASUS Malaysia has also recently confirmed to us that the ASUS ROG Phone 9 series will enter the local market soon. We expect that they will bring in all three models on offer just like what they did with the previous ASUS ROG Phone 8 models.
Our expectation is that the configuration of the device on offer will also be the same as what was announced globally, with the possibility that only one of the two base ASUS ROG Phone 9 models will be sold in the local market.
ASUS Malaysia also did not tell us when this device will be introduced for the local market, but has promised us that it will arrive "soon". In terms of the price tag, if we look at the global price offer, it is expected that the ASUS ROG Phone 9 series will once again be offered at a price that is quite noble, especially when the ASUS ROG Phone 9 Pro Edition is sold at a price of 1500 Euros or around RM7100.
