The value of Bitcoin soared to almost $75,000 after Donald Trump appeared to win the United States Presidential election. When the article was written, the value of Bitcoin had already exceeded $74,000 (~RM 326,000) showing that the trend will continue to increase. This easily surpassed the high of $72,175 (~RM 311,000) recorded last May.
Bitcoin's rise in value is happening because Donald Trump is seen as a president who will have cryptocurrency-friendly policies. While campaigning, he launched his own crypto project World Liberty Financial to show his seriousness in supporting the crypto market.
Apart from Bitcoin, other cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum, Solana and Dogecoin also showed a positive increase.
