Boston Dynamics is a familiar name in the development of robotics, and has already shown a number of their robots that are able to perform movements that resemble real life. Most recently, Boston Dynamics showed the latest development of their human-shaped robot that can pick up items and sort them.
Through the demo video that was shown, it shows that the robot is able to take thin soles from one, and then take them to the next shelf in order.
This at the same time shows the robot's ability to perform several tasks that may require specific movements in arranging and managing goods.
For now, it's more of a demonstration of the technology's capabilities, and it's unknown when it will be widely marketed for industrial use.
