DJI Goggles N3 Launched For FPV Drone Users

DJI Goggles N3 was launched early this morning as a headset for first view (FPV) drone operators DJI Avata 2 and Neo. Through Goggles N3, the drone can be controlled using head control or hand movement gestures when paired with the DJI RC Motion 3 remote control.

The headset is also equipped with a 1080p resolution screen with a 54-degree viewing angle. Among the interesting features included is the feature of removing fog on the glass surface of the screen using a built-in fan system. It also offers a battery life of up to 2.7 hours.

Users can also change settings on the drone using an augmented reality (AR) display that floats the drone's settings menu on the screen. With this the drone's settings can be changed without the user having to remove the headset.

Finally Goggles N3 can be tethered to the drone up to a maximum distance of 13 kilometers. A pair of DJI Goggle N3 goes on sale for $229 (~RM1010) starting at the end of November.
