We are ready to hear which Google will introduce the upcoming Android operating system earlier than expected. In parallel, today Google has started introducing the Android 16 Dev Preview to developers and device manufacturers – to prepare ahead of the official Android 16 launch.
Google also shared that Android 16 will be launched in the second quarter of 2025. It is said that this early introduction is in an effort to coincide with the launch period of new devices as well as ensure that new devices come with the latest Android system earlier. We'll be sharing what's new with Android 16 in stages over the coming weeks.
According to the rough schedule shared, Google aims to introduce the Beta version as early as January and the final version around April or May. For those of you who use Pixel devices, you can try this Android 16 Dev Preview today. However, it should be noted that this is a development version, and there may be problems that have not been identified.
