Generative AI feature offerings in smartphones will mostly offer translation features. For example, Call Assist via Galaxy AI on Samsung can translate phone calls, vivo X200 with Amplify Intelligence and many more. This makes the use of applications like Google Translate decreasing, but this new upcoming feature may change that.
Google often tries to offer interesting features to keep users using them. For example, the dual-screen mode like on Samsung devices. This new feature is called Sticky Translation, where it is a quick access to the past translation mode that was used. If you used Conversation mode an hour ago, then the application is closed and when you reopen the same mode will remain displayed. The same goes for language selection and the use of other modes.
It is a very small update. For me, who no longer uses the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 device, a feature like this will make it easier for me to access frequently used translation features quickly without having to worry about finding what button or icon to press. It is expected to be distributed to all users in the near future.
