GX Bank, the first digital conventional banking service provider, today celebrated their first anniversary since launch, and at the same time also shared that they now have almost 1 million registered users using their banking services.
GX Bank previously became the first conventional digital bank to start operations in Malaysia. It is a digital bank led by Grab, and has a save feature, a physical debit card linked to the app, and a link to the Grab app. To date, around RM1.34 billion has been saved through the savings pocket feature on GX Bank. GX Bank itself aims to introduce some new features parallel to their first anniversary.
One of the new features introduced is chatbot support powered by artificial intelligence on their application, named AIni. Through it, users can ask a number of questions related to GX Bank services, and receive answers. If an answer is not answered successfully, AIni will connect the user with GX Buddy for further assistance. AIni is expected to be introduced to all users in stages in the near future.
In addition, GX is also targeting the introduction of the GXWrapped feature on their application, allowing users to see their spending patterns through a simple display (like Spotify Wrapped), and will also present a badge feature on the profile that provides a number of badges based on the use and achievements of using GX banking services .
