Intel Now Testing Xe3 Graphics Architecture – To Be Used With Panther Lake

Intel has just launched its Core Ultra 200V series of processors which are seen to feature an Intel Xe2 graphics processor built in. The same graphics processor is expected to be introduced in December when Intel shows off its Intel Battlemage graphics card.

Intel’s Panther Lake processor is reportedly being tested, according to a recent Sisoft software screenshot. Panther Lake is a series of thin and light laptop processors that will replace Intel’s Lunar Lake processors next year, and is expected to be built entirely by Intel, unlike Lunar Lake and Arrow Lake which are manufactured by TSMC.

In the benchmark tests shown, Panther Lake appears to be using an Intel Xe3 graphics processor (Intel Graphics 3525) with 32 built-in cores, which is expected to be four Intel Xe3 cores.

In terms of graphics capabilities, it shows that Panther Lake’s graphics processing power is already approaching Arrow Lake, which is quite impressive especially since Arrow Lake S is a processor for desktop computers, while Panther Lake is a processor for laptops.

So far, we know that Intel's Panther Lake processors will no longer come with LPDDR5X memory built into the CPU, perhaps to allow for the use of more powerful memory such as LPDDR5 CAMM2 and so on.

More details about Intel Panther Lake may be revealed later.
