iPhone Will Soon Display Time Taken For Full Charge

Believe it or not iPhones to this day when charging, the device cannot tell you how long it will take to fully charge. On Android devices, this feature is practically a must. The majority of Android devices when charging, will display the time when charging is complete or a timer that displays the charging process.

This will change in iOS 18.2 as there is hidden code for the Battery Intelligence feature. It is said to display the time according to the amount of power the iPhone receives. Users will also be able to activate notifications that can be set by themselves such as informing how long the device takes to charge up to 80%.

For now, this code is only hidden in iOS 18.2 and it is not sure whether Apple will activate it in the current beta version or iOS 18.3. Regardless, it's pretty cool to see the iPhone finally offer a lot of features borrowed from Android.
