Memories On Google Photos Can Later Be Shared As Video Files

Google Photos Memories is one of the new features that more and more people are using. It has also recently been powered with generative artificial intelligence to generate its own albums and captions. Memories in Google Photos are auto-generated albums with slideshows that also have music.

Sharing Memories was previously a bit cumbersome as it required a web browser or the Google Photos app. The new version, Google allows users to share a collection of beautiful memories directly in video format. This means, your Memories can be exported as a video for more flexible sharing including on social media such as Reels or Stories.

This feature is rolling out to select users in stages before being widely activated. To use it, open any Memories and press share to select Share memory. Previously the option was limited to Share highlights. This new feature is said to be found in Google Photos version 7.7.0.
