Microsoft Confirms Windows 11 24H2 Update Causes Issues With Ubisoft Games

If you're a PC gamer, and you love Ubisoft games like Assassin's Creed, Star Wars, and more, Microsoft has recently confirmed that the latest Windows 11 24H2 operating system update is causing a number of performance issues with some of the company's games.

According to Ubisoft, the affected PC games include Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Assassin's Creed Origins, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Star Wars Outlaws, and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.

Players are reporting issues such as game freezes, random desktop crashes, and black screen issues while playing games. Both Ubisoft and Microsoft are reportedly aware of this and are working on an update to fix the issue.

Ubisoft says that they have already released an initial update that will help alleviate the reported issues, but will cause performance issues in terms of frame rates. They and Microsoft will work to introduce an update that will fix all of these issues, but at this time there is no confirmation as to when it will be released.
