Netflix services were disrupted in several world markets including Malaysia recently due to the high number of viewers for the fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul. At the time this article was written, we could only hear the audio with the video stuck for a few minutes.
In the United States users are reporting streaming interruptions for the past two hours with the app saying there is no internet network on the app. Users in some countries also reported stuttering streaming and unresponsive apps. Those of us who use 1 Gbps internet service also face the problem of blocked visuals.
The only way to solve this problem is to not watch live and watch the buffered streaming for a few minutes back. This Netflix outage only involves live streaming of boxing matches. Other content can still be viewed as usual.
