Netflix, Malaysia's leading video streaming service, is now seen increasing their subscription prices for local customers, effective immediately.
Through the latest update, Netflix Basic is offered at a price of RM29.90 a month, Netflix Standard at a price of RM49.90 a month, and Netflix Premium at a price of RM62.90 a month. The new changes see an increase for all plans, including Netflix Basic from RM28 to RM29.90 per month, Netflix Standard from RM45 per month to RM49.90 per month, and from RM55 per month to RM62.90 per month for the previous Netflix Premium.
Netflix Mobile which cost RM17 per month before, is now increased to RM18.90 per month.
In addition to the price changes on the streaming platform, various subscription bundles from other providers are also expected to see price changes in the near future.
