The current era of generative artificial intelligence is pretty terrible. Various applications and services that are now easier for the public. Most recently, Microsoft expanded their generative artificial intelligence technology offering to the Notepad application.
Notepad was previously integrated with a text search feature using Copilot. A spell check feature has also been introduced. This new feature is more interesting because it can help users write. Rewrite is the name given to be able to rewrite the text in Notepad to be shorter, longer, the tone of the language is changed from casual to formal and can also change the writing format.
Based on the image shared by Microsoft, users will receive some regenerated text or can regenerate all of them. Rewrite can be accessed from the right-click menu, the menu bar, or even by pressing the Ctrl + I keys.
Rewrite on Notepad is limited to users in the US, France, UK, Canada, Italy, and Germany using Windows 11 Insider.
For Microsoft 365 (60 credits per month) and Copilot Plus (unlimited credits) customers who use Windows 11 Insiders in Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand can use Rewrite with limited credits.
