In the early 2000s, Half-Life 2 was one of the most iconic computer games that could be played if you had a powerful enough computer.
2024 is the 20th anniversary of this legendary computer game, and today too, Orbifold Studios has shown a video trailer for Half-LIfe 2 RTX, a graphical and mechanical update to the classic game.
The game is still in the development phase, and the video shows a little of the progress that is taking place. For now it is still unknown when this game will be ready to be developed and go on sale.
Despite that, the same announcement also shows that you can now add the game to your Wishlist on Steam. As said, the launch date and price tag are not yet known.
In the meantime, NVIDIA has also today shown an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Super graphics card that comes with a Half-Life 2 theme, showing the game's logo along with the main character Gordon Freeman.
NVIDIA GeForce, through their social media accounts on X, TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram will be giving away one of these graphics cards to one lucky winner soon. Unfortunately this giveaway is only limited to selected markets, and Malaysia is not one of the countries included in this giveaway.
