OpenAI Considers Developing Its Own Web Browser to Compete with Chrome

OpenAI is now ready to offer ChatGPT services, as well as an artificial intelligence-based search engine. Not only that, OpenAI is seen targeting Google more actively, and has reportedly considered developing their own alternative Chrome web browser.

Through the search engine, OpenAI aims to integrate ChatGPT support and their search engine. However, at the moment, it is unknown how far the idea has progressed, and whether it will continue or not. For your information, OpenAI is ready to offer a plug-in for Chrome, which replaces the use of Google in the address bar directly to the ChatGPT search engine.

Today, there are a number of web browsers on the market that provide different options to users. For now, Google has not fully integrated artificial intelligence into their web browsers, but there are some others that emphasize it more, such as Opera and Brave with quick access to artificial intelligence-based bots.

For yourself, would you switch to another alternative web browser if offered by OpenAI?
