The Oppo Reno13 and Reno13 Pro were recently launched in China. They are Oppo's new premium mid-range devices as an alternative to the Oppo Find X8 series. Both devices are the world's first with the Dimensity 8350 chip which is also matched with the Oppo X1 chip.
The Oppo Reno13 comes with a 6.59-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz screen, while the Reno13 Pro comes with a 6.83-inch with the same features. For the camera configuration, the Reno13 comes with a 50+8 Megapixel sensor, while the Reno13 Pro with 50+8+50 Megapixel. Both have the same 50MP selfie camera.
The design of the device looks like an iPhone but with a longer camera bump. One of the color options, which is purple, has a unique pattern with other color options being more of a soft solid color. Oppo Reno13 and Oppo Reno13 Pro also have IP69 water and dust protection certification. For the additional Oppo X1 chip, it is said to be a special chip to help with wireless connections such as WiFi, NFC, Bluetooth and others.
Reno13 is equipped with a 5,600mAh battery while Reno13 Pro with 5,800mAh. Both support SuperVOOC 80W wired fast charging and AirVOOC 50W wireless fast charging. The operating system is ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 complete with AndesGPT generative AI features.
For now, both devices have only been launched in China. Reno13 is sold at a starting price of RMB 2,699 (~RM1,661) for the 12/256 GB variant and can reach up to RMB 3,799 (~RM2,339) for the 16/1000 GB. The Reno13 Pro is priced starting at RMB 3,399 (~RM2,092) for the 12/256 GB variant and goes up to RMB 4,499 (~RM2,770) for the 16/1000 GB.
