Perodua today entered into a partnership with Gentari - one of the electricity charging and sustainable energy service providers under Petronas. Through this collaboration, Perodua is seen in preparation for the launch of their electric vehicle scheduled for 2025.
Under this collaboration, Gentari will provide electric vehicle charging facilities at Perodua service centers - thus facilitating the transition process of Perodua customers to electric vehicles. In addition, Gentari will also provide access to electric charging service subscriptions, charging solutions at users' homes, in addition to integration with the Gentari Go platform.
Gentari currently has 175 DC charging points nationwide, while Perodua has 194 sales centers and 209 service centers nationwide.
In addition, Perodua also announced collaboration with several other Petronas companies, including Setel - which will feature the integration of Setel payment services in the Perodua UFirst application. At the same time, Perodua and Petronas also announced which Perodua service centers will be opened in selected Petronas stations.
