Razer Launches USB4 Dock To Add Plug Connection Options To Laptops

Laptops, regardless of type and size can now be seen as a substitute for desktop computers for various purposes, regardless of productivity or leisure. When viewed in terms of size, a laptop is sometimes better used than a large desktop, but with one drawback where the USB plug is sometimes not enough.

With this, Razer has launched their new accessory, the Razer USB4 Dock which takes advantage of the USB4 data transmission speed to allow you to take advantage of the USB4 connection on your laptop to install as many accessories and computer hardware as you want.

Razer USB4 Dock comes with data transmission support as fast as 40Gbps and comes with support for USB 3.2 Type-A plug, USB 3.2 Type-C with 100W charging support, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 that supports two displays up to 4K120Hz, RJ-45 plug for connection internet and also support for SD and MicroSD cards.

What makes this accessory quite interesting is that it only needs one cable to connect to your computer's USB4 plug (apart from the power cable) to make it a hub that can house all your computer accessories and hardware.

For the Malaysian market, it seems that Razer has started selling this Razer USB4 Dock through their official website for the local market at a price of RM1000. Interestingly, through an email received by us today, Razer Malaysia said that it is not yet offered through an official local distributor. If you are interested in purchasing it, it seems that it is only offered through the website.
