Realme GT7 Pro was launched in Malaysia yesterday which is also the first Snapdragon 8 Elite device in our country. The Southeast Asian region became the second market after China to receive this flagship gaming device. Yesterday during an interview session with the Southeast Asian media, Sherry Dong who is the head of marketing for Realme Southeast Asia confirmed that another of their melodious devices will be launched next year in collaboration with a leading camera company.
He declined to reveal the name of the camera company at this time but revealed that the device will also use the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. This gives a hint that Realme may also offer devices with the Ultra series in the future. A few years ago it was rumored that Realme would collaborate with Kodak but so far it has not happened.
In our opinion, cooperation may be done with Hasselblad because Realme is under the umbrella of BBK Electronic. Oppo and OnePlus which are also under the same umbrella have already offered devices with Hasselblad camera systems since 2021.
Through collaboration with a leading camera company, Realme may be able to increase the prestige of a brand that has been better known as an affordable device with camera performance that is not comparable to other brands on the market.
