RedMagic 10 Pro series officially announced in China. It consists of RedMagic 10 Pro and RedMagic 10 Pro Plus which are marketed in the new gaming device segment dominated by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. Both also share a lot of certain things in common but have different target users.
The screen is a 6.85-inch BOE AMOLED with 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate and 2,000nits peak brightness. Apart from the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, the phone is also equipped with a Red Core R3 which is claimed to be able to play certain games at 2K /120Hz resolution. Memory options are up to 24GB LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 Pro internal storage. Both phones also run RedMagic OS 10 for some new software including X-Gravity Platform 2.0, support for AI game models and MORA AI Companion.
The camera system consists of 50MP (main) + 50MP (Ultra wide) + 2MP (macro) and a 16MP selfie. The main difference between the two phones is the smaller 6,500mAh battery with 80W charging used on the RedMagic10 Pro model. Meanwhile, a 7,050mAh battery with 120W fast charging is provided on the RedMagic10 Pro Plus.
The new phone is equipped with a mechanical switch on the right side to activate the Gaming Space Center. Followed by a dedicated shoulder button with a touch response rate of 520Hz which can also be adapted for quick access to the camera application. Among the other features that can be found are a redesigned 360-degree antenna, a cooling fan with a speed of up to 23,000 RPM, a large 3D vapor chamber, an X-axis linear motor, three built-in microphones and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Selling prices start at CNY 4,999 (~RM3,090) (12/256GB) and CNY 5,499 (~RM3,400) (12/512GB) for RedMagic 10 Pro. Meanwhile, RedMagic 10 Pro Plus is priced at CNY 5,999 (~RM3,709) (16GB/512GB) and CNY 7,499 (~RM4,637) (24GB/1TB).
