The Redmi A4 has been officially launched in India in the entry-level device segment. It is powered by the Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chip and is the successor to the Redmi A3 that was announced last February. It still has a round glass camera bump with two main cameras but has been redesigned in terms of its arrangement.
The Redmi A4 is equipped with a 6.88-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. This is matched with the Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chip, 4GB RAM and 64/128GB internal storage as the mainstay of the device. In addition, it has a 5160mAh battery that can be charged via 18W charging and a USB-C port. However, the charger head provided supports output power up to 33W.
Other features that can be found are a 50MP main camera, 8MP selfie, IP52 waterproofing, 3.5mm audio jack and mono speakers. As for software, it is powered by HyperOS based on Android 14 with two years of software updates and four years of security. For now, Redmi has not revealed plans to sell this phone in other markets.
