Our check found that the new Samsung Galaxy A16 5G phone has started to be listed in Malaysia. Longer software updates reach six years on mid-range devices. In addition, it still maintains a build that resembles several generations before.
Looking at the available product information shows that the device is available in three color options which are Light Green, Blue Black and Gold. This is matched with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ screen and a 90Hz refresh rate. There are no details about the processor chip but what is certain is that a combination of 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage is included.
The main camera system consists of 50MP + 5MP + 2MP followed by a 13MP selfie camera. A 5,000mAh battery is used and can be recharged via a USB-C port. As of the writing of this article, the device is only seen listed and no information about the sale price has been found. It is however potentially announced in the near future.
