Is there a mass migration from X to other social media platforms? If the words of the head of the Threads platform Adam Mosseri are true, it is indeed happening. According to him since the beginning of November, Threads has seen the registration of 15 million new accounts. On average around 1 million new accounts are opened every day.
The migration of users from X to other platforms increased after Donald Trump won the US presidential election with the help of Elon Musk. As a sign of protest many moved to Threads and also Bluesky. Bluesky themselves announced they now have 15 million users.
Threads a few weeks ago said they had 275 million monthly active users. X on the other hand now has around 335 million monthly users with it decreasing especially from the United States.
