Threads recently added a Custom Feed feature and an algorithm that focuses on content from followers they follow. Most recently, they have updated their video playback capabilities. This update will make it easier for you to watch videos on Threads.
What is this update? You can now watch videos in landscape mode. Yes, video playback on Threads is no longer limited to vertical display. Users who share horizontal videos with text instructions for users to rotate their devices are also no longer required because the video display in landscape also supports full screen mode.
Vertical videos, however, are not locked to vertical display when viewed, meaning that when you watch such videos in landscape mode – the display is a small video in the middle of a black screen.
