A few months ago, X introduced Stories for paid users. It’s a generative AI feature powered by Grok that curates current news. A similar feature is also currently being tested by Meta on Threads, but it focuses on trending topics rather than news.
According to Adam Mosseri, with the Trending Now feature expanding to more countries like the United States – Threads is now adding more topics and also using generative artificial intelligence to summarize what the most popular discussions or shares are by Threads users at any given time.
Not only that, Mosseri also shared that the search feature has also been expanded with deeper capabilities. Users can now search for something by specific sharing time or even search for content directly from specific accounts.
This new feature is being tested in select countries like the United States. It’s not clear when this feature will be rolled out to all users. Do you want this feature?
