The Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has now shared that part of the total allocation of RM20 million will be used in developing and building a sports stadium. For now, the location of the selection for the stadium is still not shared.
The balance allocated in the 2025 Budget will be used for training and other sports activities. TPM as the chairman of the National TVET Council also sees that TVET will play a role in developing the esports ecosystem through training that does not only focus on players, but also skilled manpower who master skills such as event management, coaching, content production, and broadcasting techniques.
As many are aware, the sports arena has been growing lately, even showing many Malaysian players who brought home championships and prizes. Overall, the sports arena itself is expected to have a big impact on the country, especially in the creative and technological fields.
