Last month, three phones under the vivo X200 series were launched in China. These three models are vivo X200, vivo X200 Pro and also vivo X200 Mini of which only two models were brought into Malaysia starting today. Each model brought in so far is limited to one variation only.
vivo X200 Pro
The device's screen uses a 6.78-inch 1.5K curved LTPO OLED panel (2800 x 1260), supports a refresh rate of 1Hz-120Hz, brightness reaches 4500 nits and also an HDR10+ display. It is powered by a Dimensity 9400 chip paired with 16GB RAM LPDDR5X Ultra Pro memory + 16GB virtual RAM, 512GB UFS 4.0 internal storage and runs Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15.
For the camera configuration, the vivo X200 Pro uses a 50MP + 50MP + 200MP sensor powered by the vivo V3+ imaging chip. The lens system is ZEISS T* type anti-reflective and for the selfie camera a 32MP sensor is used. The vivo X200 Pro also continues to offer a wide selection of Zeiss portrait modes and professional video recording capabilities.
The device's battery is a BlueVort type with a capacity of 6,000 mAh with Flash Charge 90W wired and wireless 30W fast charging support. The device is also equipped with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner sensor, IP68/IP69 water and dust protection and a Bluetooth-based SOS emergency call system with a range of 4km, but it is not currently supported in Malaysia.
vivo X200

Generative AI – Amplify Intelligence
vivo also collaborated with Google for built-in generative AI features such as text summaries for voice recorders, generating transcripts and vivo Live Call Translation as Galaxy AI Call Assist.
Then the Album application can perform a smart search with more specific keywords, AI translation and Circle to Search are also provided.
Both vivo X200 and X200 Pro are also designed to look more premium and luxurious, in addition to being comfortable in the hand. Funtouch OS 15 for the global market is also now complete with several generative AI features. The design of the screen is actually flat but there is a finish that gives the illusion that it is slightly curved to distinguish premium flagship devices from other classes.
Price
In Malaysia, the vivo X200 Pro is sold at a price of RM4,699 for 16/512 GB with a choice of colors and Midnight Black or Titanium Grey. For the initial purchase vivo Malaysia gives a gift worth RM1787 for free which includes Flash Charge 50W vertical wireless charger, vivo laptop bag, 1 year screen warranty, 1 year additional warranty, purchase discount with purchase up to 30% and also trade-in rebate up to RM500 .
For the vivo X200, only the 16/512 GB variant is offered at a price of RM 3,599 which is cheaper than the realme GT 7 Pro. The two colors that can be purchased are Midnight Black and Aurora Green The free gift is more or less the same as the vivo X200 Pro, only the wireless charger is replaced with the vivo TWS 3e.
