Waze is a popular navigation app owned by Google. Recently, Google announced the start of Gemini integration on Waze, while also introducing a new feature that allows users to report conditions on the road using only voice input or in the form of a voice conversation.
This at once brings a new way to do a road condition report, and not just through pressing a button on the application. This step also makes driving safer and there is no need to focus on the Waze screen while driving to report road conditions.
Users can talk to Waze through this integration, and through the integration of artificial intelligence, it can identify what is meant, and then add the user's report to other Waze users' alerts.
This feature is being tested among selected Waze beta testers first, and is limited to English for now. We may see it widely introduced in the coming months.
