Websites Opened on Google iOS Apps Will Display Link Text to Google Search

Since the introduction of generative artificial intelligence technology was introduced and integrated into search engines, many website owners have found that it will affect traffic because no one will enter the website anymore because all the information has been summarized. Recently, Google has found a way to ensure that users do not visit third-party websites in the long term.

Specifically on the Google app on iOS, any website you open through the built-in web browser of this application – selected articles will be linked to Google search. This means, while you are reading an article on your favorite website – there will be blue text that is not an advertisement from that website but a direct link to Google Search. Among the examples shown is a shortcut to location information as if in Google Maps.

Website owners can however request Google not to include this feature on their respective websites. However, it will take up to 30 days to complete. Do you like this kind of feature?
